The 8th interview is Takuya Hirano, President and CEO of Microsoft Japan. The choice of dinner was "Hermitage de Tamura" in Karuizawa.
---: Thank you for today.First, please tell us why you chose this shop.
Hirano: When I was an executive in charge of a major corporation, I organized a group called "Yumekai" (Mugenkai) composed of customers around CIO, and I had a regular meeting. However, I had seminars and study sessions in Karuizawa about once a year.In such a situation, I visited here several times. The meal is delicious and the atmosphere is good, but above all, the hospitality is good.I can't drink alcohol, but when I told the shop, I had a handmade alcohol -free drink with instant seats.
By the way, it was tomato juice, but it was pure white. When I wondered and asked the shop, it was a filter of the tomato juice many times over a day, and all the colors were pulled out.The taste is as sweet as grape juice.I was impressed that each dish was so much time -consuming.
---: Can you come to Karuizawa frequently other than the dream party meetings?
Hirano: I don't have much personally.About the past few times.I wish I had one of the villas (laughs).
---: Speaking of which, there are rumors that Mr. Bill Gates is built in a villa in Karuizawa.
Hirano: I've heard about rumors, but I don't know the fact as a company or company.
---: Is Gates still coming to Japan?
Hirano: You came once last year.
