Car audio that utilizes the "DAP-7909" collaboration player with Astell & (Alpine F Number One Status)” was announced. The system utilizes the DAP-7909 digital audio player developed in collaboration with Astell&Kern.

AlpineF#1Status will go on sale globally from this fall, and in Japan, a complete car based on Toyota's "Alphard Executive Lounge S" will be released this fall. We will start accepting orders in July. The price is about 2 million for the system itself, and in the case of Alphard, the built-in wage is about 1.5 million.

Sales of full complete cars, handling of systems other than complete cars, and consultation on installation are accepted at all four directly managed stores "Alpine Style". In addition, handling is only for system sales, not for individual sales.

As a system supplier that provides the enjoyment of music, this car audio system was developed over a period of about three years by bringing together the technical capabilities, know-how, and knowledge that we have cultivated over the years. It is said that the space will not only be used to move cars, but will also serve as a space where people can enjoy music and create excitement in their daily lives.

"AlpineF#1Status" system configuration

The system consists of a digital audio player "DAP-7909", a head unit "HDS-7909", a digital audio processor "HDP-H900", a power amplifier "HDA-F900" x 2, It consists of a tweeter/middle/woofer/subwoofer 4-way speaker "HDZ-9000".

384kHz/32bit on Alpine, AK player Car audio to play

The DAP-7909, which was created in collaboration with Astell&Kern, supports playback of PCM sound sources up to 384kHz/32bit, and can be used not only as a portable audio player, but also as a car audio player with sound sources stored in the player. By inserting the player into the dock, it can be operated from the AlpineF#1Status commander (head unit), and the internal music can be played with the car audio.

"DAP-7909"

The base model of the AK player is the "A&ultima SP1000M", which is customized for operation from the head unit and has the Alpine logo on the housing. Except for that, it has the same specs as the regular SP1000M. Digital connection via USB. Other players and smartphones cannot be used as storage.

As for storage, it is also possible to connect a USB memory to the head unit and play high-resolution files in that memory. It does not have a Bluetooth reception function. In order to synchronize clocks, which will be described later, the head unit and processor are connected by a unique bus called A2B BUS.

The DAP body is lightweight with an aluminum body and is equipped with a high-resolution 4.1-inch HD display. It has a USB 3.0 Type-C port and supports high-speed data communication. The player can also be used alone.

The head unit "HDS-7909" that supports DAP operation for the first time in the industry is equipped with a newly developed "master clock management system". Digital signals, which were conventionally processed by separate clocks for each head unit and audio processor, are sent to the head unit as a "master clock" by oscillating a clock from the audio processor, completely synchronizing the signal processing. . This reduces the occurrence of jitter and minimizes the deterioration of sound quality caused by jitter.

"HDP-H900" internal structure

The crystal oscillator installed in the digital audio processor "HDP-H900" is the "OCXO DuCULoN", which boasts the world's highest frequency accuracy. The DSP "Griffin UL", which has the highest specifications in the industry, is also installed. Newly developed dedicated high-quality sound chip "MUSES05" for the operational amplifier. By improving the details of the circuit block configuration, the purity of signal processing has been increased and noise has been suppressed to the utmost limit. The DAC chip is "ES9038PRO" made by ESS.

The power amplifier "HDA-F900" achieves low distortion, low noise, and a high damping factor with its unique negative feedback (NFB) circuit. This power amplifier is also equipped with the jointly developed operational amplifier "MUSES05".

The 4-way speaker system "HDZ-9000" uses carbon fiber reinforced resin (CFRP) as a common diaphragm for all units. Combined with adjustments such as screw hole positions, they succeeded in unifying the tones of each unit. 80kHz playback dual emission magnetic circuit for tweeter, DDLinear + DDDrive hybrid magnetic circuit for mid driver, DDDrive magnetic circuit for woofer, DDLinear magnetic circuit for subwoofer. A low-distortion gathered edge is also used for the mid/woofer/subwoofer.
