Could you tell me the working environment when making illustrations?

Ti: PC uses iMac, the liquid tab mainly uses Wakang's "Cintiq Companion Hybrid", and the software mainly uses "CLIP STUDIO PAINT", as well as "Adobe Photoshop" and "Adobe Illustrator".

Remember that "CLIP STUDIO PAINT" is the main tool! That was unexpected. Judging from the touch of the illustration, I thought "Adobe Illustrator" was the main tool.

Wheeli: often said (laughs). My illustration, the main line is very clear, the shadow also has a quick feeling, so many people think so.

　There is another reason for using "CLIP STUDIO PAINT" as the main use. in fact, in addition to the job as an illustrator, he is also an external lecturer in specialized schools to teach students how to draw illustrations. If you are a student, you won't spend too much money on equipment and software. in that case, "CLIP STUDIO PAINT" should be easy to import. With the cooperation of students, I have also become the main tool in the process of learning how to use it (laughter).

　In fact, I secretly brought < LAVIE T11 > to the school and let the students use it. I can use it more skillfully than I do, and the evaluation is very good (laughter).

-it's great that this project can also be drawn in "CLIP STUDIO PAINT". Compared with the usual environment, how is the sense of painting and ease of assignment in < LAVIE T11 >?

Huili: this time I drew it on a tablet. I finally wanted to draw it without a keyboard, but the frequently used shortcut keys became unusable on the keyboard, which really hurt (laughter). Of course, there is also an optional keyboard, so people who often use shortcuts had better wear it to work.

　On the contrary, you can use your fingers to zoom in, zoom out, rotate and so on, which is really convenient. I even broke my own liquid label. Also, if you put the tool palette on the right side of the painter, accidentally touching it with your hand will produce a reaction, so find a way to collect all the tools on the left. The writer who draws on the tablet is very flexible. In order to prevent accidental mismovements, there are also people who only wear gloves with holes in their fingertips.

Painting starts with fixed colors such as skin color and the color of trees. In the conception stage, the color of the details has not yet been decided, while looking at the overall balance, it is decided every time. The color smear is basically a bucket painting, injecting the same color style into the area surrounded by the line drawing.

Which color to put, move the pen on the color picker and determine the color from the feeling.

The color layer will not be divided into too fine, but will be painted on a single layer. At this point, everyone has a person who makes dozens of layers on an illustration, but he is relatively few.

The production of this illustration will take about two and a half hours. Does it take a lot of time than usual?

Tilly: I think so. There are also parts that are not used to operation, and there is also a sense of tension in the video, which is mainly depicted, which is offset. Because there is usually a lot of infidelity (laughter).

Lili: is it convenient? It has also been painted in this illustration. Sitting on the sofa and holding it in your hand can also draw a relaxed posture. I think it's good to draw it when you want to draw it.

Can you use it to do your job?

Wheeli: the whole process may be very strict, but I think it can be used in stages, and it will shorten the time if it can be well distinguished. And when you want to change your posture.
