Upload page created by the file request function
The US Dropbox released the "File Request Function" on June 17, local time. You can create a web page in the drop box to have your files uploaded.
In the past, when collecting files from multiple people, it was necessary to contact each person by e-mail or telephone and have them send the files, which was troublesome.
However, if you use this function, for example, you can create a page with the title "Photo of Mr. XX's birthday party" and send the URL to the participants so that other people can upload the file.
Uploaders simply enter their name and email address and select a file
To use it, first select "Request File" from the menu on the left side of the top page of the drop box, or go directly to https://www.dropbox.com/requests. Next, click the "Request File" link in the middle of the screen and write the theme of the file you want to request, such as "Birthday party photo" or "Cooking recipe". After that, an upload page and a folder with the same name will be created and a URL will be issued, so all you have to do is tell it to others.

You don't need a dropbox account to upload files. Uploaders can send files up to 2GB by simply entering their name and email address. Furthermore, for files sent to the creator of the file request page, the uploader's name is added to the beginning of the file name, making it easy to organize a large number of files.
This function is already available to users of Dropbox Basic and the same professionals. For business dropbox users, it will be available in the next few weeks.
