It is a so-called light van. There are two types of "N-VAN + STYLE" that consider functionality-oriented N-VAN & leisure use, but this time I was able to borrow N-VAN + STYLE. The main feature is that it has a luggage compartment where large luggage can be loaded and it is easy to load and unload. It has low fuel consumption and a comfortable ride that allows you to move without stress even with luggage loaded. Honda SENSING is standard equipment on all types and safety is ◎, so it is a popular car. I've been riding such an N-VAN for 10 days, so I would like to introduce some of the N-VANs I noticed there.

N-VAN is classified as a light freight vehicle. It is easy to think that light freight cars can only be used by people who use cars for work (purchases for commercial vehicles), but ordinary people can also buy them. Recently, it is said that the sales of "N-VAN + STYLE" are increasing because it is easy to stay in the car and it is becoming popular with solo campers. It's cheaper to maintain than a normal light car, so it can be said to be a wallet-friendly car. Please note that the first vehicle inspection is 2 years. The vehicle inspection time comes one year earlier than that of a light car, but the second and subsequent vehicle inspections are every two years like a normal car.
The car started slowly, stopped and rolled slowly, and was rather a soft ride. It is easy for anyone to handle, so even people who are not accustomed to driving can ride with confidence. Also, the windows are large and the view is wide, and the view from the driver's seat is good. Since it has a small turning radius and a rectangular body, it was easy to get a feel for the vehicle by advancing on narrow roads.
The body rigidity was GOOD so that I could understand it. I ran on a pass, but I don't mind rolling, and I can turn sharp curves with confidence. I got the impression that the car has a lower center of gravity than it looks. As for the running sound, is the engine sound a little worrisome at high speeds? I felt that. However, it is not a level where I can not talk in the car, so I am within the allowable range. Rather, it didn't bother me at all when riding in the city. The fuel consumption was 13km / L when I got on the train with a weight of 50kg.

What I was worried about was that the seat belt was attached to the door because it was pillarless, and I was about to pinch it. If you pinch it, the door will be scratched, so be careful!

The space under your feet is spacious in the driver's seat, passenger's seat, and rear seat. When I sit at 158 cm, I can stretch my legs and I still have plenty of room. The seat is firm, but it has cushioning properties so it doesn't hurt your butt even if you sit for a long time. What I was interested in was that when I sat down, I slipped forward ... The seat was slightly tilted, so I was leaning forward.
The luggage compartment is equipped with belts and hooks so that it can be fixed when luggage is loaded. The material of the floor is a little rough vinyl, but I like it because it can be wiped quickly even if it gets dirty and it has a good anti-slip property.
