Every year, Japan Car of the Year (JCOTY) decides the "car that symbolizes this year".It is a historic award that has been around since 1980.Here is a review of the JCOTY decision.
As a regular selection schedule, the nominated car of the year will be announced at the end of October.This is selected from the passenger cars announced or released from November 1st to October 31 of the previous year, and includes all imported cars that can be purchased in Japan.
The primary selection will be carried out from this nominated car, and the top 10 cars will be announced in early November.This is called the "10 best car", which will be selected from here.
The final selection will be held at the end of November, but just before that, a 10 -best car test drive will be held as a place for the final confirmation of the selection committee.The 60 selection committee members actually reconfirmed the design and ride comfort of each car here and voted the final vote.
