The main body size is about 100 x 75 x 26 mm (width x depth x height), which is small enough to fit in one hand of an adult man, and weighs about 86g and less than 100g. The interface is an antenna terminal, a Micro USB terminal for connecting to a PC, a miniB-CAS slot and the bare minimum. It has a very simple and straightforward design. Since the power supply is USB bus power, there is no need to prepare an AC adapter separately.

Recorded programs can be stored on the PC itself or on an external HDD. Since the recording capacity of TV programs is large, users who want to free up space on their PC should use an external drive such as a USB HDD.
Supported OS is Windows 10, Windows 8.1/7 and Mac OS are not supported. Since it does not have a network function and is used on a PC, it requires a USB connection with a PC and a physical connection with a TV antenna. Before installation, it is recommended to consider in advance the location of the TV antenna at home and where the PC will be installed and used.
To set up, simply connect GV-MVP/AZ to your PC, download "mAgicTV 10" from the IO Data website, and follow the instructions to install. The procedure itself is simple, just follow the instructions on the screen, but an alert appears that the channel scan will take about 5 to 10 minutes, and that updating the program information will take nearly 130 minutes. When I installed it on a notebook PC with Core i 7, it actually took a little over an hour to create a program guide, but it would be better to expect the total setup time to be close to an hour.
Install mAgicTV10 When using for the first time, a channel scan is required. It is displayed that updating the program guide takes time.
