Porsche Japan has added a Gran Turismo sports model "Taican GTS" with a cruising range of over 500km to the sports EV "Taikan", and started accepting pre-orders from November 17th.
The Taycan GTS, which made its world premiere at the Los Angeles Motor Show, has a maximum cruising range (WLTP) of 504km. It will be the first Taycan to break the 500km barrier. This means that the entire Porsche model range now has a "GTS" model.
The Taycan GTS generates 598ps of overboost power when using launch control. It accelerates from 0-100km/h within 3.7 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 250km/h. The adaptive air suspension, including Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), is optimized for the GTS for enhanced lateral dynamics. The optional rear-axle steering set-up has also become sportier. The Porsche Electric Sport sound has also been modified, resulting in an even richer sound pattern.
The exterior features numerous black or dark details such as the GTS-specific front apron, exterior mirror bases and side window trims. The interior emphasizes an elegant and dynamic ambience, with a black anodized brushed aluminum interior package that comes standard with black Race-Tex.
A new option is a panoramic roof with sunshine control. An electrically switchable liquid crystal film changes from transparent to matte to protect the occupants from glare. In addition, it is the world's first automobile to support individual switching of 9 segments. In addition to transparent and matte settings, you can also choose semi and bold by switching between preset narrow and wide segment patterns.
The price is 18.07 million yen. Right hand drive only.
