Shizuoka Prefectural Board of Educationは、県立学校におけるネットワークの運用管理を含めた校内インフラの構築支援やICT環境構築支援を手掛けています。新型コロナウイルス感染症拡大の影響によって、全国の小中学校の児童・生徒1人に1台の情報端末とネットワークを整備するという「GIGAスクール構想」の実施が大幅に前倒しされました。整備を進める中で課題となったのが、無線アクセスポイントのMACアドレスフィルタリングを活用した端末制御で、この認可端末の登録が手作業となるため現場に大きな負担がかかることが懸念されていました。そこで端末登録の課題を解消しセキュリティ強化も図れるセキュリティシステム「L2Blocker」の導入を行いました。本導入事例ではL2Blockerの導入背景や具体的な取り組み、導入効果について紹介しています。
